Retaliation

Retaliation (Qesas) is a 1971 Iranian film directed by Nezam Fatemi and written by Ahmad Najibzadeh. Produced at the Naqsh-e Jahan studio, the Persian-language picture belongs to the drama and crime genres. Its cast includes Nasır Melek, Pouri Banayi, Gholam-Reza Sarkub and Mohsen Arasteh, alongside the celebrated singer and actress Googoosh. The film dates from the period of Iranian cinema preceding the Islamic Revolution.
