Asey

Asey is a 1972 Iranian film directed by Saeed Motalebi from a screenplay by Jalal Mehraban. Its principal cast features Nasır Melek, Rafi Madadkar, Manuçehr Vüsuk and Pouri Banayi.

The picture portrays the resistance mounted by Qashqai nomadic tribes against colonial powers. Location shooting was carried out in Shahreza, in Isfahan province, as well as in the surrounding villages of Esfarjan, Hunjan and Aminabad.
