Dream (Rüya) (translated)

Rüya (English title: Dream) is a Turkish romantic drama series that aired on Show TV for a single season in the summer of 2017. Produced by Gold Film and directed by Cemal Şan, it premiered on 18 July 2017 and concluded with its tenth episode on 24 September 2017.

The story draws on the Cinderella fairy tale, transposed to contemporary Turkey. Elif, a young woman working in a clothing store, leads a modest life with her father, brother, stepmother and stepsister. Everything changes when she crosses paths with Bulut, the son of a wealthy family. Although fate brings the two together, their blossoming love turns into an impossible one, strained by the gap between their social classes, their contrasting personalities and the conflicting interests of their families.

Hazal Filiz Küçükköse and Ceyhun Mengiroğlu star in the leading roles, supported by Ulaş Tuna Astepe, Devrim Özkan, Buse Varol, Emir Çubukçu, Funda Bostanlık, Özge Sezince and Özge Özder.
