Single Hero

Single Hero (Persian: پهلوان مفرد) is an Iranian drama film from 1971, directed and written by Aman Manteghi. Made in the Persian language during the productive early years of the 1970s in Iranian cinema, it brought together several familiar performers of the period, including Nasır Melek, Hassan Rezaei, Beyk İmanverdi and Farrokhlagha Houshmand. The picture is counted among the commercial productions of pre-revolutionary Iranian filmmaking, an era when domestic popular cinema was thriving before the upheaval of the late decade.
