The Holes

The Holes (original title: Les Gaspards) is a 1974 French comedy film directed by Pierre Tchernia, who also co-wrote the screenplay with René Goscinny. Released in February 1974, the film stars Michel Serrault and Philippe Noiret, alongside a cast featuring Michel Galabru, Charles Denner, Jean Carmet, Annie Cordy, Chantal Goya and a young Gérard Depardieu.

Running about 94 minutes, the film stands out among Tchernia's writer-director works and won the Saturn Award for best fantastic film.
