The Net 2.0

The Net 2.0 is a 2006 American mystery thriller directed by Charles Winkler and written and produced by Rob Cowan. Although presented as a sequel to the 1995 film The Net, directed by Winkler's father Irwin Winkler (who also produced this installment), it tells a separate story with new characters and was released direct-to-video in the United States.

The plot follows Hope Cassidy, a computer systems analyst who lands in Istanbul for a new job and discovers her identity has been stolen. Caught in a web of identity theft, robbery, and murder, she must use her wits to clear her name. Shot largely in Istanbul, the film stars Nikki DeLoach alongside Keegan Connor Tracy and Neil Hopkins, with Turkish performers including Demet Akbağ, Şebnem Dönmez, Güven Kıraç, and Cengiz Bozkurt.
