The Parisian Life

The Parisian Life (La Vie parisienne) is a 1977 musical comedy film directed by Christian-Jaque. A co-production between France, Italy and West Germany, it adapts Jacques Offenbach's 1866 opéra bouffe of the same name, whose libretto was written by Ludovic Halévy and Henri Meilhac. The screenplay was penned by Christian-Jaque together with Jean-Loup Dabadie.

The film stars Martine Sarcey, Évelyne Buyle and Dany Saval, with Jacques Legras and Jean-Pierre Darras also among the cast. Shooting took place partly at the Bavaria Studios in Munich.
