The Thief of Paris (Le Voleur) is a 1967 French-Italian crime film directed by Louis Malle, adapted from Georges Darien's 1897 novel of the same name. The screenplay was written by Malle together with Jean-Claude Carrière and Daniel Boulanger. Jean-Paul Belmondo stars as Georges Randal, a professional thief in turn-of-the-century Paris, and the story follows both his burglaries and his ongoing relationship with his cousin Charlotte, played by Geneviève Bujold.

The cast also includes well-known French actors such as Marie Dubois, Charles Denner and Bernadette Lafont. Released in France on 22 February 1967, the film drew 1,225,555 admissions there and was entered into the 5th Moscow International Film Festival.
