Thérèse Étienne
Thérèse Étienne is a 1958 French-Italian drama directed by Denys de La Patellière and adapted by Roland Laudenbach from John Knittel's 1939 novel. The picture stars James Robertson Justice, Françoise Arnoul and Pierre Vaneck, with Guy Decomble, Guy Kerner and Jacques Monod also in the cast. Filming took place at the Billancourt Studios in Paris as well as on location in Switzerland, while art director Paul-Louis Boutié designed the sets. Shot in French, the roughly 90-minute production was released in 1958, opening in Germany on 21 March of that year.
