Give Up, My Heart (Vazgeç Gönlüm) (translated)

Vazgeç Gönlüm is a Turkish drama series produced by Gold Film and broadcast on Star TV between 2007 and 2008. Running for two seasons, the series concluded after a total of 47 episodes.

The story centers on Salih, a young man who becomes a minibus driver at an early age to support his family; his life takes an unexpected turn when he meets Bahar, the daughter of a wealthy family. The obstacles standing in the way of their love are woven together with the sorrow of a lost life. Directed by Adnan Güler, with Ayşe Teker among the writing team, the series underwent major script changes at the start of its second season and ended without a definitive finale.
