Alina Boz — Biography

Alina Boz is a Turkish actress of Russian descent, born on June 14, 1998, in Moscow. Her mother is Russian and her father a Turkish immigrant from Bulgaria; she moved to Istanbul with her family at the age of seven and studied at the Kadir Has University Theatre Department. She began her screen career in commercials and had her first series experience in 2013 with Cesur Hemşire.

She became known in 2014 with the role of Hazal in Paramparça, and went on to appear in Kaçma Birader (2016), Vatanım Sensin and Elimi Bırakma (2018). With the role of Eda in the Netflix series Aşk 101 (2020) she reached an international audience and was named Rising Star of the Year. In 2021 she played Mahur Türel in Maraşlı; in 2022 she appeared in the series Bir Peri Masalı and the film Yılbaşı Gecesi. Boz, who married director Umut Evirgen in 2023, graduated from university in 2026.
