Alina Boz — Biography

Born on 14 June 1998 in a small town near Moscow, Alina Boz is the daughter of a Russian mother and a Turkish father whose family had emigrated from Bulgaria, and the family relocated to Istanbul when she turned seven. Schooling at Özel Gökjet Aviation High School preceded a Theatre degree from Kadir Has University, while childhood years were spent performing at the Barış Manço Culture Center.

Commercial and magazine work led to her screen debut as Canan in Cesur Hemşire in 2013, followed by roles in Paramparça, Kaçma Birader, Sevdanın Bahçesi, Vatanım Sensin and, alongside Alp Navruz, Elimi Bırakma across 2014 to 2018, in which she portrayed Hazal, Melis Kahveci, Defne and other characters. Her turn as Eda in the Netflix series Aşk 101 won her an international following, and by 2021 she was starring alongside Burak Deniz as Mahur Türel in Maraşlı.

Multiple film and television credits followed in 2022 -- Bandırma Füze Kulübü, Bir Peri Masalı and Yılbaşı Gecesi among them -- before a stage return in Palamut Zamanı in 2025 and, that same year, a part as Asporça Hatun in the period drama Kuruluş: Orhan. In December 2023 she wed director Umut Evirgen in Istanbul, and by August 2026 the pair were publicly expecting their first child, a daughter.
