Aslı Altaylar — Biography

Aslı Nimet Altaylar was born on October 21, 1980, in Rize. She completed her acting training at the Theatre Department of the Müjdat Gezen Art Center.

She began her screen career in 1995 with the series Çiçek Taksi and gained recognition in 2004 through Yabancı Damat. In 2007 she played Ayfer in the adaptation of Sinekli Bakkal, and starting in 2008 she portrayed Gülbin across five seasons of Akasya Durağı, the role that became her signature and continues to draw attention in the Turkish press well into 2026.

In film, she appeared in Ali'nin Sekiz Günü (2009) and Kanunsuzlar (2014), and returned to television as Ayten in the 2016 series Gülümse Yeter. Comfortable moving between comedy and drama, Altaylar remains known as a character actress associated with warm, neighborhood-style roles.
