Barış Yıldız — Biography

Barış Yıldız was born on 17 September 1982 in Istanbul. After training at the Theatre Department of the State Conservatory of Mimar Sinan University, he turned to acting and has worked steadily in film and television since the late 1990s.

He became widely known for the character Tekin in the series İşler Güçler, then reinforced that success as Saffet in the film Düğün Dernek, made with the same team, and reprised the role in its sequel Düğün Dernek 2: Sünnet. He earned considerable acclaim for playing Barış in the series Kardeş Payı. In later years he appeared in productions such as Martıların Efendisi, Familya, Her Yerde Sen and Tutunamayanlar, and continued working in film and television through the 2020s with projects including Kasaba Doktoru and Çok Aşk.
