Boran Kuzum — Biography

Boran Kuzum was born on October 1, 1992, in Ankara. He grew up surrounded by theatre as the son of an assistant director at the Ankara State Theatre and a mother trained in fine arts; after studying economics for a year at Gazi University he turned to acting and graduated from the Theatre Department of Istanbul University State Conservatory in 2015.

He first appeared on screen in 2015 as Suat in the series Analar ve Anneler, then drew attention playing Prince Mustafa in Muhteşem Yüzyıl: Kösem. His profile rose sharply with the role of Leon in the 2016 series Vatanım Sensin, and he went on to appear in the film Cingöz Recai in 2017 and as Efe Akdora in the series Şahin Tepesi in 2018.

In subsequent years he took roles in productions such as Aşkın Kıyameti and Yılbaşı Gecesi, and in 2024 played Alâeddin in the film Mevlana Mest-i Aşk, based on the life of Rumi, and Feyyaz in the series Thank You, Next. In 2026 he landed a lead role in the US-produced Netflix series Big Mistakes, earning praise from co-star Jack Innanen and marking an international breakthrough in his career.
