Metin Akdülger — Biography

Metin Akdülger was born on April 10, 1988, in Bursa. While studying International Relations at Koç University, he grew interested in acting, took part in the school's drama classes, and performed in amateur productions; in 2012 he joined the Craft Theatre company, launching his professional stage career.

He made his television debut in 2013 as Orkun in the series Medcezir and his film debut the same year in Bensiz. After appearing in the period drama Analar ve Anneler in 2015, he landed his first leading television role in 2016 as Murad IV in the second season of Muhteşem Yüzyıl: Kösem; around this time, his solo stage performance in Baldan Karanlık earned him the "Promising Actor of the Year" award at the Üstün Akmen Theatre Awards.

He went on to appear in the series Şahsiyet in 2018, Atiye in 2019, and Kulüp in 2021, while also co-writing the comic book series Görmüş Geçirmiş Kaptan 88 and making music with his band Journers. In 2026, he starred opposite Hande Erçel in the film İki Dünya Bir Dilek (Two Worlds, One Wish).
