Burak Dakak — Biography

Burak Dakak was born on 8 June 1998 in Ankara, and at just 10 years old began acting as Servet in the 2008 series Doğruluk Ekseni. He went on to study Cinema and Television at Bahçeşehir University.

He played the young Mert in Ezel in 2009, then took roles in Geniş Aile and Kendi Okulumuza Doğru, Arda in Kolej Günlüğü in 2011, and Mesut in Ekip plus the young Savaş Dağhan in Hıyanet Sarmalı in 2013. In 2014 he played Fevzi in Benim Adım Gültepe; in 2016 he took on both Şehzade Mehmet in Muhteşem Yüzyıl Kösem and Onur in Umuda Kelepçe Vurulmaz; and in 2018 he portrayed Şehzade Gıyaseddin Keyhüsrev in TRT 1's Diriliş Ertuğrul as well as Hasan Taşkın in the newly launched Gülperi.

Between 2019 and 2021 his part as Akın Koçovalı in Çukur drew a large audience; from 2022 he played Mihran Yakut in Güzel Günler and, online, Mürsel and Ateş Demirdelen in Çekiç ve Gül: Bir Behzat Ç. Hikayesi. That same year he made his stage debut in Aydınlıkevler, written by Yılmaz Erdoğan and directed by Serdar Biliş. Zeki Demirkubuz's film Hayat cast him as Rıza in 2023, and the next year he took on Bora Karca on Karadut; by 2026 he led TRT tabii's Canvermezler.
