Carmine Recano — Biography
Carmine Recano is an Italian actor born on 28 November 1980 in Naples, active in both television and film.
His widest recognition came from portraying Commander Massimo Esposito on the youth drama series Mare Fuori (The Sea Beyond), which ran from 2020 to 2023. On screen he has repeatedly worked with director Ferzan Özpetek, appearing together in Naples in Veils, The Goddess of Fortune, and the 2024 film Diamonds. He began his film career with a role in The Ignorant Fairies in 2001 and later appeared in Loose Cannons in 2010. In 2025 he took roles in the series Sara: Woman in the Shadows and Noi del Rione Sanità.
