The Goddess of Fortune

La dea fortuna, released internationally as The Goddess of Fortune, is a 2019 Italian romantic comedy-drama directed by Ferzan Özpetek. Set in Rome, it follows Alessandro and Arturo, a couple of fifteen years whose passion has slowly cooled into routine, leaving their relationship in crisis.

When their close friend Annamaria must spend a few days in hospital for medical tests, she asks the two men to look after her children. The youngsters' sudden arrival upends the couple's daily life, forcing Alessandro and Arturo to confront what they mean to each other and setting off an unexpected change in their lives.

The film stars Stefano Accorsi and Edoardo Leo alongside Jasmine Trinca, Filippo Nigro, Carmine Recano, Barbara Alberti and Serra Yılmaz. It reached Turkish cinemas in 2022 under the title Şans Tanrıçası.
