A Perfect Day (Mükemmel Bir Gün)

A Perfect Day (Italian: Un giorno perfetto) is a 2008 Italian drama film directed by Ferzan Özpetek. Based on the novel of the same name by Melania Mazzucco, the screenplay was co-written by Özpetek and Sandro Petraglia. Produced by Fandango in collaboration with Rai Cinema, the film was presented in competition at the 65th Venice International Film Festival and opened in Italian cinemas on 5 September 2008.

Dark in tone, the film tells of an obsessive love that ends in tragedy. Running roughly 105 minutes, it features an ensemble cast including Isabella Ferrari, Valerio Mastandrea, Stefania Sandrelli, Nicole Grimaudo, Monica Guerritore, Angela Finocchiaro, Milena Vukotic, and Serra Yılmaz.
