Jasmine Trinca — Biography

Jasmine Trinca is an Italian film actress, director, and screenwriter, born in Rome on 24 April 1981.

She made her screen debut playing Irene Sermonti in Nanni Moretti's 2001 film The Son's Room, and reunited with the same director in 2006 for The Caiman. Roles in Manuale d'amore and Romanzo Criminale, both released in 2005, further raised her profile. Over the following two decades she appeared in Piano, solo, House of Tolerance, Miele, Wondrous Boccaccio, The Gunman, Tommaso, Fortunata, Lucky, Euforia, and The Goddess of Fortune, and in 2024 starred in Ferzan Özpetek's Diamonds, one of the top box-office draws in Italy that year. Her performances have brought her a David di Donatello, several Nastro d'Argento awards, and a Ciak d'Oro, along with the Marcello Mastroianni Award at the Venice Film Festival.
