The Son's Room (La stanza del figlio) is a 2001 Italian-French drama directed by Nanni Moretti, who co-wrote the screenplay with Linda Ferri and Heidrun Schleef. The film follows Giovanni, a successful psychoanalyst whose orderly, contented life collapses after the loss of his beloved son; as tension between him and his wife deepens, the couple's daughter begins questioning her own life. It was filmed in and around the city of Ancona.

Starring Moretti, Laura Morante and Jasmine Trinca, the film competed at the 2001 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Palme d'Or, and also received the David di Donatello for Best Film. Chosen as Italy's entry for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, it later appeared on Empire magazine's 2008 list of the 500 greatest films of all time.
