Kim Rossi Stuart — Biography
Kim Rossi Stuart is an Italian film and stage actor born on 31 October 1969 in Rome. The son of Italian-Scottish actor Giacomo Rossi-Stuart, he entered the entertainment world at a young age, trained at the Actors Studio, and began his acting career in the mid-1970s.
He gained wider recognition in the late 1980s with productions such as Valentina and The Sleazy Uncle, later appearing in acclaimed films including Beyond the Clouds, Piano, Solo and A Question of the Heart. His portrayal of "Il Freddo" in Michele Placido's crime drama Romanzo Criminale became one of the defining roles of his career and brought him to a wider audience.
Alongside acting, Rossi Stuart has also worked as a director and screenwriter, earning some of Italian cinema's most prestigious honors, including the David di Donatello and several Nastro d'Argento awards. He went on to excel in biographical roles, portraying real-life criminal Renato Vallanzasca in Vallanzasca - Angels of Evil and jazz pianist Luca Flores in Piano, Solo.
