Ebru Cündübeyoğlu — Biography

Ebru Cündübeyoğlu was born on 10 September 1974 in Heilbronn, Germany, the only child of dentist Ertuğrul Cündübeyoğlu and Hülya Cündübeyoğlu, a placer in the 1970 Miss Turkey pageant. After graduating from the Faculty of Economics at Uludağ University, she entered the same pageant herself in 1993 and, like her mother, placed fourth, before turning to acting; her first television role came in the 1999 series Deli Yürek.

She went on to appear in series such as Koçum Benim, Çınaraltı, Omuz Omuza, Kuzey Rüzgarı, Yalancı Romantik, Avrupa Avrupa, Galip Derviş and Evli ve Öfkeli, and played Nur in the film Kocan Kadar Konuş. Alongside acting she published a poetry collection, Aşılı Kolum, in 2005 and a novel, Ferda, in 2019. In 2024 she joined the cast of Arka Sokaklar as Candan Ceylanlı. She married presenter Güçlü Mete in 2003 and had a daughter, Duru, with him in 2005, but the marriage ended in 2022.
