The Comedy Shop (Komedi Dükkanı) (translated)
Komedi Dükkanı is a Turkish entertainment program built on improvisation and sketches, broadcast between 2007 and 2011. Guided by Tolga Çevik and Fırat Doğu Parlak, the show presented improvised sketches on pre-selected topics without following any written script. The program was directed by Ebru Yalçın and produced by Sinan Çetin.
Its first season aired on TV8, featuring Salih Kalyon alongside Tolga Çevik; Kalyon left when the show moved to TRT 1 for its second season. In 2010 the program transferred to Star TV for a third season and ended on 15 June 2011 with its 101st episode, titled "Komedi Dükkanı: Yolun Sonu." Its signature characters included Çevik's Arkadaşım, Parlak's on-stage director persona, and the musician Minik (Özer Atik). The program won the Golden Butterfly Award for Best Comedy Series.
