Leyla Tanlar — Biography
Leyla Tanlar was born on 13 December 1997 in Istanbul. Following her studies at the Italian High School, she pursued a degree in Media and Visual Arts at Koç University. After training at Akademi 35Buçuk, she launched her acting career and became known for the character Cansu in Paramparça, broadcast between 2014 and 2017; that year she also received Gelişim University's Most Promising Actor Award.
A part in Şahin Tepesi preceded her lead role as Şirin in FOX's Ferhat ile Şirin in 2019. She next played Selma in Show TV's Güzel Günler (2022-2023), then Sevilay in the same network's Siyah Kalp (2024-2025). In 2026 she made her theatrical debut opposite Sarp Akkaya in the play Job. Now engaged to longtime partner and fellow actor Burak Dakak, Tanlar has said no firm wedding date has been set.
