Seda Güven — Biography

Seda Güven graduated from Marmara University's Department of Textile Design before moving into acting at the encouragement of Başak Gürsoy; she was born on 28 August 1984 in the Bandırma district of Balıkesir to journalist Oğuz Güven and Serpil Güven.

Her career began with a small role in Ekmek Teknesi in 2002 and continued through series such as Büyük Buluşma, Ateşli Topraklar, Elveda Derken and Hepimiz Birimiz İçin; she gained her widest recognition as Meltem in Fatmagül'ün Suçu Ne? between 2010 and 2012. She played Nil in Merhaba Hayat and Valentina Verjenskaya in Kurt Seyit ve Şura, appeared in the films İksir: Dedemin Sırrı, Git Başımdan, Olanlar Oldu and Kaç Kaçabilirsen, was seen in the series Aşk Yalanı Sever, Ateş Böceği and Adı Zehra and in the 2019 film Öldür Beni Sevgilim, and took a role in the 2024 series Leyla.

She married singer Keremcem in Paris in November 2014 and divorced him around nine months later, in August 2015; she married businessman Ali Güzel in June 2019, and the couple had a son in December 2020 and a daughter in August 2022. She lost her father, Oğuz Güven, in July 2021.
