Raymond Pellegrin, Paolo Stoppa, Mildred Dunnock, Daniela Rocca, Christian Marquand and Albert Rémy are also in the cast.

Shot in black and white, the film was banned from release in Spain under the Franco regime. In France it is known as Et vint le jour de la vengeance.
