An Ugly Man (Bir Çirkin Adam) (translated)

An Ugly Man is a 1969 Turkish adventure film written, directed by and starring Yılmaz Güney. The story follows Bino, a young hitman searching for his father, a role played by Güney himself.

The film took home three prizes at the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival in 1970. Güney was honored with the Best Film and Best Actor awards, while Hayati Hamzaoğlu won Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Abbas. The cast also features Feri Cansel, Mümtaz Alpaslan, Süleyman Turan and Asım Nipton.
