Bugünün Saraylısı is a Turkish television series filmed in 2013 and 2014. It portrays the conflicts sparked when two families with very different lifestyles come together, balancing dramatic moments with a sense of humour. Bringing together performers such as Barış Arduç, Ali Ersan Duru, Hatice Aslan and Nazan Kesal, the series explores class differences, family bonds and love through a story that moves from the provinces to the big city, with the tension between tradition and modern life at its core. The production also found an audience abroad, airing in Serbia on the Pink channel under the title Ayşen — Zlatarova Kći.
