Serhat Teoman — Biography

Serhat Teoman was born in Diyarbakır on 4 June 1983 while his father, a soldier, was stationed there, and the family moved to İzmir after he finished middle school. He trained as an actor in the performing-arts program at Dokuz Eylül University and went on to a theatre master's degree at Mimar Sinan University; he performed with the company Tiyatro Kutu, which he founded as a student with Emre Erkan, Fatih Sönmez and Buğra Gülsoy, then co-founded GET Yapım with Erkan once it closed and, later, ART 12 Entertainment with Gülsoy. His short-film work brought him best-actor honors at two university film competitions, and the play "Dalga" earned him an Afife Theatre Award for new talent.

Teoman entered television in the early 2000s, debuting on screen in 2003 with Kurşun Yarası, and after series such as Gece Gündüz, Avrupa Yakası, Yalancı Yarim and Kanlı Düğün, broke through in 2012 playing Burak Çatalcalı in Kuzey Güney. He went on to play Dr. Sinan in Acil Aşk Aranıyor, Barış in Kaçın Kurası, Inspector Sinan in Anne, Cemal Eröz in Kızım (2018), then Ali Kemal Karasu the following year in Çocuk and Sedat in Oğlum (2022), before joining Veliaht in 2025 as Faroz.
