The Woman Who Drives You Crazy (Çıldırtan Kadın) (translated)

Çıldırtan Kadın, also known as Sevmek mi Ölmek mi?, is a 1978 Turkish thriller-drama directed by Çetin İnanç. Written by Engin Temizer and produced by İbrahim Mertoğlu for Mert Film, with cinematography by Dinçer Önal, the film stars Zerrin Egeliler as Gül Fırat and Tarık Şimşek as her husband Kemal, alongside Turgut Özatay and Ata Saka.

The story follows Gül, a happily married woman who loses her child during a quarrel with her husband that is inflamed by her mother-in-law's false accusations. Her husband is sent to prison while she is committed to a psychiatric hospital. After escaping, she falls in with a band of fugitive convicts who turn out to be her husband's former fellow inmates.
