Death is serving

Movie · 1966 · 2 people

La muerte cumple condena, released in English as Dollars for a Fast Gun, is a 1966 Italian-Spanish western from the early years of the spaghetti western boom. Directed by Joaquín Luis Romero Marchent from a screenplay by Sergio Donati, with a score by Marcello Giombini, it features Robert Hundar, Pamela Tudor, Roberto Camardiel and José Bódalo among its principal performers, alongside familiar genre faces such as Benito Stefanelli and Aldo Sambrell. The picture marked the end of Marchent's working relationship with producer Alberto Grimaldi and drew a lukewarm critical response on release. Even so, it belongs to a run of Marchent westerns later cited among Quentin Tarantino's points of reference, giving it a modest afterlife beyond its initial reception.
