Dönüş (The Return) is a 1988 Turkish film directed by Faruk Turgut, who co-wrote the screenplay with Osman Şahin, adapting Şahin's short story "Son Cirit" (The Last Javelin). Produced by Uzman Film, it features music by Cahit Berkay and cinematography by Salih Dikişçi.

The film follows Berde, a man imprisoned for murder who returns to his village after serving his sentence and takes up shepherding. In the village of Hano, where the equestrian javelin game carries great weight, tensions soon rise between Berde and the villagers, and as he prepares for the games organized to settle the conflict, new troubles await him. Tarık Akan and Nur Sürer star, with a supporting cast including Yaman Okay, Raci Kiper, Günay Güner, Mustafa Yavuz, Hilmi Poyraz, Engin Çelik, and Ali Sürmeli.
