Les soleils de l'île de Pâques

Les soleils de l'île de Pâques (The Suns of Easter Island) is a 1972 French film directed by Pierre Kast. Blending science fiction with drama, it runs for roughly 90 minutes.

The story follows six strangers of different nationalities and walks of life who each simultaneously receive a kind of coded message summoning them to Easter Island. Gathering there, they witness the cosmic manifestation of the "suns", beings arriving from deep space. Alain, a Frenchman who has accompanied them, acts as the catalyst for this encounter and remains on the island to bear witness to the strange vision.

The cast features Alexandra Stewart and Françoise Brion, alongside Jacques Charrier, Maurice Garrel, Norma Bengell and Ruy Guerra.
