Road of Death (Ölüm Yolu) (translated)

Ölüm Yolu is a 1985 Turkish crime-adventure film directed by Halit Refiğ and produced by Türker İnanoğlu, with a screenplay by Fuat Özlüer and Erdoğan Tünaş and cinematography by Çetin Gürtop; it reached theaters in 1986.

The story follows a group of convicts who escape during a road accident while being transferred to prison. Led by Mehmet (Kadir İnanır), the fugitives take a young woman, Zeynep (Hülya Avşar), hostage and hide out in the mountains while demanding ransom from her family. As his companions turn increasingly hostile, Mehmet's protective treatment of Zeynep sparks an unlikely bond between them, and their flight - marked by police raids, betrayals, and losses among the group - ends in tragedy for the couple. Tanju Gürsu and Sümer Tilmaç round out the cast.
