The Luminescent Jewel

Gohar-e shab-cheragh (The Luminescent Jewel) is a 1967 Iranian drama film written and directed by Esmail Koushan. Shot in Persian, the production features performers of the era such as Füruzan, Taghi Zohouri, Mansoon Matin, Akbar Khajavi and Gholamhossein Bahmanyar. The picture stands among Koushan's works on which he served as both screenwriter and director, and it belongs to the classical period of Iranian cinema.
