Up to His Ears

Up to His Ears (original French title: Les Tribulations d'un Chinois en Chine) is a 1965 French-Italian adventure comedy directed by Philippe de Broca and starring Jean-Paul Belmondo and Ursula Andress. The screenplay, written by Daniel Boulanger together with de Broca, is loosely based on Jules Verne's 1879 novel of the same name.

The film served as an indirect sequel to That Man from Rio (1964), reuniting much of the same team, with stunt work by Gil Delamare. Upon release it proved a genuine popular success, though it did not match the box-office heights of its predecessor. Produced by Vides Cinematografica, the film runs about 110 minutes.
