Cengiz Coşkun — Biography
Cengiz Coşkun, born on April 29, 1982, in Istanbul, is a Turkish actor and former model. Coming from a family of Bulgarian immigrants, he graduated from a sports academy and played professional basketball before turning to acting.
Being named Best Model in 2002 opened the doors to modelling and acting; he began his television career in 2005 with the series Rüzgarlı Bahçe, followed by Nehir, Candan Öte and Doktorlar. In 2012 he played the Byzantine commander Giustiniani in Fetih 1453 and a special forces officer in Dağ. After competing in Survivor in 2013, he became widely known as Turgut Alp in Diriliş Ertuğrul (2014), a character he later reprised in Kuruluş Osman. He appeared in the film Çekmeceler (2015) and portrayed Sultan Alparslan in Malazgirt 1071 (2022).
