İpek Yaylacıoğlu — Biography

İpek Yaylacıoğlu Usta is a Turkish actress born on July 31, 1984 in Istanbul; besides acting, she is also engaged in design and photography. After Işık High School she studied Advertising at Bilgi University; her grandmother is of Bosnian origin.

She began her screen career in 2005 as Nalan in the series Ihlamurlar Altında, which also made her known in the Arab world. After the series Kavak Yelleri, Çemberin Dışında and Senden Başka, in which she played the lead, she portrayed Saadet in the film Başka Semtin Çocukları (2008). She made her breakthrough as Eda in the comedy series Kardeş Payı (2014), and between 2009 and 2019 she played Pınar in Arka Sokaklar. The actress became a mother in 2017.
