İsmail Demirci — Biography

İsmail Demirci, born on November 13, 1984 in Ankara, is a Turkish film and television actor. He grew up in a family that had immigrated from Bulgaria and graduated in 2009 from the Theatre Department of the Anadolu University State Conservatory. He began his screen career in 2010 with the series Türkan and went on to appear in series such as Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu (2012), Fabrika Kızı (2015) and Serçe Sarayı (2015).

He portrayed Kemankes Kara Mustafa Pasha in Muhteşem Yüzyıl Kösem and won the Best Actor award at the Krajina Film Festival for his role in the film Posta Kutusu. In 2019 he took on a leading role as Kuzey Mollaoğlu in Kuzey Yıldızı İlk Aşk; he also appeared in Çarpışma (2018) and Ben Bu Cihana Sığmazam (2022). In 2026 he starred alongside Cansu Dere in the film Portekiz Aşkı and began playing Gedik Ahmet Pasha in the series Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı. He is married to Hande Soral.
