İsmail Demirci — Biography
The son of a family that had immigrated from Bulgaria, İsmail Demirci was born on 13 November 1984 in Ankara. After graduating from the Theatre Department of Anadolu University's State Conservatory in 2009, he stepped onto screen in the series Türkan. Following productions such as Anneler ile Kızları, Mor Menekşeler and Ben Onu Çok Sevdim, he became widely recognized playing Erkan in Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu.
He portrayed Kemankes Kara Mustafa Pasha in the period series Muhteşem Yüzyıl: Kösem, and his performance in the film Posta Kutusu won him the Best Actor award at the Krajina Film Festival. In 2019 he took the lead as Kuzey Mollaoğlu in Kuzey Yıldızı İlk Aşk; after roles in Çarpışma (2018), Ben Bu Cihana Sığmazam (2022) and Enfes Bir Akşam (2025), he left the series Kral Kaybederse in 2025. Following the film Portekiz Aşkı opposite Cansu Dere, he took on the role of Gedik Ahmet Pasha in Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı.
He has been married to fellow actor Hande Soral since 2017 and has a son named Ali.
