Sparrow Palace (Serçe Sarayı) (translated)

Serçe Sarayı is a Turkish drama and romance series that debuted on Star TV on March 5, 2015, produced by Endemol Shine Turkey and Bazıfilmler and directed by Mesude Erarslan. It ended after a single season with its 13th episode on June 14, 2015.

Serçe, a woman in her early thirties, leads a quiet life in Istanbul with her two sons and her sister. After losing her husband Ramazan in a traffic accident, she turns down every suitor and devotes herself entirely to her family. Then an unexpected revelation shatters her world: throughout their marriage Ramazan had been seeing another woman, and he even had a son with her. Forced to confront the truth, Serçe reaches a turning point in her life, and matters become even more complicated when Kadir, the love of her youth, returns to the neighborhood after years away.

Songül Öden stars as Serçe opposite Mert Fırat as Kadir, with a cast that also includes Alican Yücesoy, Esra Dermancıoğlu, İsmail Demirci, Selen Öztürk and İlayda Alişan.
