Kubilay Aka — Biography
Kubilay Aka was born on May 5, 1995, in Istanbul and studied Airport Management at Eskişehir Anadolu University. Before turning to acting, he worked for a private airport handling company in Muğla, where he caught the attention of the artist Ufuk Ergin, whom he would later marry, and was invited to audition for the series Vatanım Sensin.
He made his acting debut in 2016, playing Ali Kemal in Vatanım Sensin, and soon moved into higher-profile productions. His role as Cilasun in the Show TV series Çukur, which began in 2017, brought him wider recognition; he went on to appear in series such as Love 101 (2020), Oğlum (2022) and İnci Taneleri (2023), as well as films including Arif V 216 (2018) and Zaferin Rengi (2024).
As of summer 2026, Aka stars alongside Hafsanur Sancaktutan in the series Mercan Köşk, one of the most visible stretches of his career so far.
