Selin Şekerci — Biography
Selin Şekerci was born on 1 June 1988 in İzmir. Trained in theatre, she worked for a time at the İzmir State Theatre early in her career.
She had her first acting experience in the 2006 series Sağır Oda. She then appeared in Kavak Yelleri (2007) and Melekler Korusun (2009), the series that brought her real recognition. In 2011 she acted in Leyla ile Mecnun, İzmir Çetesi and Canım Abim, and the same year appeared in the feature film Ay Büyürken Uyuyamam. In 2012 she took a role in Benim İçin Üzülme.
In 2014 she won a large fan base with the character Şebnem in Kaçak Gelinler. After acting in Acı Aşk and Rengarenk in 2016, she shared the lead with Şükrü Özyıldız in the 2017 Fox TV series Çoban Yıldızı, playing the character Zühre.
