Serdar Deniz — Biography
Serdar Deniz is a Turkish-born actor, born on 6 February 1969 in Ankara. He moved to Cologne, Germany with his family at the age of three and grew up there, graduating from the German conservatory "Theater der Keller" in 1998. After working in theater and television in Germany, he went on to appear in numerous films and television series in Turkey.
He is best known for playing Beyto Ağa in "Gurbet Kadını," Yakışıklı (Levent Bozoklu) in "Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu," Titus in "Diriliş Ertuğrul," and the assassin Edward Jorris in "Payitaht Abdülhamid." He also worked at the Arkadaş Theatre from 1990 to 1998 and performed at municipal theaters in Germany between 1994 and 1995.
Since 2023 he has toured Turkey performing the role of Michel de Montaigne in the award-winning play "Montaigne," and he continues to work as a producer, director and actor at ApplausHaus, the theater production company he founded.
