Sibel Taşçıoğlu — Biography

Sibel Taşçıoğlu was born on July 28, 1976 in Bursa. She first took the stage in 1995 in the children's play Tılsım at the Bursa State Theatre, and in 1997 she entered the Theatre Department of the Istanbul University State Conservatory.

She acted in the plays Yan Etkili Konuşmalar, Tekrar Çal Sam and Apaçık at Tiyatro Fora, and appeared on stage in Anna Karenina at the Kenter Theatre. Her screen career began in 1995 with Çiçek Taksi; she acted in series such as Ekmek Teknesi, Medcezir and Kehribar.

In 2018 she reached a wide audience with the role of Şermin Yaman in Bir Zamanlar Çukurova, and the same year she played Meral Atman in the film Şampiyon. In 2022 she gave life to the character Pembe in Kızılcık Şerbeti, and in 2025 she acted in the series Çarpıntı. In 2026 she is preparing to return to the screen with a new series in which she will play Burak Özçivit's mother; she is also known for her voice-over work. She is married to Murat Kolçak Köstendil.
