Fikret Kuşkan — Biography
Mehmet Fikret Kuşkan was born on 22 April 1965 in Istanbul. He grew up in İstinye with four sisters; after losing his father at the age of thirteen he lived in Tokat for a while before returning to Istanbul. He graduated from the Theatre Department of the Istanbul University State Conservatory.
He first appeared in front of the camera in 1988 in Zülfü Livaneli's film Sis. He won the Best Actor award at the 1991 Golden Orange for his performance in Gizli Yüz, at the 2002 Ankara Film Festival for the film 9, and at the 25th Istanbul Film Festival for his role as Sadık in Babam ve Oğlum.
He appeared in series such as Hanımın Çiftliği, Kızlarım İçin, Zalim İstanbul and Elkızı, and in films such as Şampiyon, Direniş Karatay, Mucize 2: Aşk and Akif. In 2026 he played Umur Karanoğlu in the series Aynı Yağmur Altında; the same year he took the lead role in TRT 1's new series Evlilik Güzeldir.
