Elkızı

Elkızı is a Turkish drama series made by NTC Medya whose first episode aired on October 23, 2021. Feride Kaytan directed from a script by Hilal Yıldız, and the show closed out with its 13th episode on January 30, 2022.

At the heart of the story is a young woman, Ezo, who loses her mother to suicide. Belittled by her father and overlooked by her grandmother, she grows into a hardened, defiant young woman shaped by that lack of love. Everything shifts after her father lets slip a devastating confession; reckoning with her past in the aftermath, she moves in with her grandmother Cavidan and pushes to carve out a stable, proper life for herself.

Sevda Erginci, Perihan Savaş and İsmail Ege Şaşmaz share the lead roles, with Sedef Avcı and Toprak Sağlam also part of the cast. Filming took place around the Ula district of Muğla.
