Bliss
Bliss (originally titled Glück) is a 2012 German drama film directed by Doris Dörrie. Adapted from a story in Ferdinand von Schirach's collection "Verbrechen," which is grounded in real criminal cases, the film had its world premiere at the 2012 Berlin International Film Festival; Dörrie had already won Best Director at the 2011 Bavarian Film Awards for the project.
The story follows Irina, a war refugee who supports herself working at a nightclub in Berlin, and Kalle, a homeless drifter, as an unlikely bond grows between them; Alba Rohrwacher and Vinzenz Kiefer star in the lead roles. Aykut Kayacık also appears in the cast.
