But It's Nothing Serious (Italian: Ma non è una cosa seria) is a 1936 Italian romantic comedy directed by Mario Camerini. Running about 81 minutes, it belongs to the "white telephone" cycle of light comedies set among well-off circles that was characteristic of Italian cinema of the period.

The film is based on Luigi Pirandello's play of the same name, written in 1918 and already filmed once before, in 1921. Camerini wrote the screenplay with Ercole Patti and Mario Soldati. Vittorio De Sica, Elisa Cegani and Assia Noris star. Vivi Gioi made her debut here, and her screen name "Vivien Diesca" is an anagram of De Sica's surname, chosen as a tribute to him. Guido Celano, Elsa De Giorgi and Ugo Ceseri also appear.

It was shot at the Caesar Film studios in Rome, with sets designed by art director Gastone Medin. Two years later, in 1938, Camerini remade the story as a German-language film, The Man Who Couldn't Say No.
