Fatoş's Babies (Fatoş'un Bebekleri) (translated)
Fatoş'un Bebekleri ("Fatoş's Babies") is a 1962 Turkish comedy-drama written by Bülent Oran and directed by Arşavir Alyanak, produced by Melek Film.
The story follows Suat, an intensely jealous husband who barely lets his wife Fatoş leave the house on her own. While Suat is away on business, Fatoş goes out to dinner with a friend, and word of it reaches her husband. To lure him back home, Fatoş claims she is pregnant, setting off a chain of comic complications that builds toward an unexpected ending.
The leads are İzzet Günay as Haşmet, Sadri Alışık as Suat, and Fatma Girik as Fatoş — three of the best-known names of the Yeşilçam film era.
